1295A. Fasting the First Month

Numskull having enough food to last him eleven out of the twelve months fasts the entire first month so as to get the ordeal over. He starves with eleven month's supply on hand. [J2135.1].

1295B. The Seventh Cucumber

The thief, picking the seventh cucumber, remembers the Seventh Commandment; starts again from number one. Catching the thief, the owner beats him, counting from one to five (the Fifth Commandment) and then begins anew.
