66B. Sham-dead (Hidden) Animal Betrays Self

  • I. The jackal says that dead animals wiggle their tails, etc. The crocodile moves his tail.
  • II. The crocodile in hiding hears a bell the jackal has found. Thinking it a goat, the crocodile cries out for the goat to go away.
  • III. Crocodile hiding in piles of leaves makes them rustle when jackal says leaves always rustle.
