1641B. Physician in Spite of Himself

Because of wife's foolish report that her husband is a famous doctor he is commanded to cure the queen [H916.1.1]. She laughs at his foolishness and dislodges the fish bone (breaks the abscess) [N641].

1641C. Charcoal-burner Latin

Peasant accidentally pronounces some words sounding like Latin. He thus gets a reputation for learning. Becomes priest (or wins princess). [K1961.1.2]. Cf. Types 1628, 1825B.
